The Methodical Recommendations “How to increase the resilience of territorial communities through better veteran reintegration” includes short preface outlining the main relevant principles of the state policy on veterans and ensuring sustainability; overview of the stages of assessing the state of affairs regarding the reintegration of veterans in the community, assessment of local resources, resource needs of third-party organizations and state executive bodies; provided comprehensive recommendations to local governments and other stakeholders on various aspects of reintegrating veterans into communities; provided recommendations on the organization of interaction between local self-government bodies and veterans, including areas, forms and methods of such interaction.

The Methodical Recommendations also includes 6 annexes with relevant projects on veteran’s reintegration, state budget programs aiming veteran rehabilitation, social and economic support as well as questionary on challenges during transition from military to civil life.
