Study on the role of women in illicit arms trafficking in Ukraine
Donor/project customer: The Small Arms Survey (the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland).
Project implementation period: August – October 2020.
The objective of the study was to identify and evaluate, on the one hand, the specific roles of women and girls in the arms trafficking, and, on the other hand, the involvement of women in the sphere of countering arms trafficking and small arms control, their effectiveness in this activity and the factors affecting their participation in activities to counter illicit trafficking of small arms.
