Educational programs
Educational programs were developed in 2021 and 2022 within the framework of the project “Local Self-Government and the Rule of Law in Ukraine” implemented by the Folke Bernadotte Academy (FBA) during 2014-2022 with the financial support from Sweden.
1. The educational program on identifying the factors of conflicts in the community (2021) (training) is part of the Program for assessing the potential of conflicts at the local level based on self-assessment, developed and implemented by the Center for Security Studies “CENSS”.
The training was useful for local self-government bodies, local executive bodies, public organizations who want to understand conflict as a phenomenon and its dimensions, to acquire knowledge and skills in identifying the factors that cause conflicts in the community based on self-assessment in order to prevent and resolve conflicts.
2. The educational program on systemic analysis and assessment of the potential of conflicts in communities (2022) is a continuation of the Program of assessment of the potential of conflicts at the local level based on self-assessment, which was developed and implemented in 2021 by the Center for Security Studies “CENSS”.
The two-day training program is intended for representatives of local authorities, in particular city councils, local departments of central executive authorities, as well as for representatives of local civil society organizations who wish to understand conflict as a phenomenon and its dimensions, acquire knowledge and skills in identifying the factors that cause conflicts in community based on self-assessment in order to prevent and resolve them.
The training course includes lectures and practical sessions on the analysis of systemic conflicts and assessment of the potential of conflicts in communities.
